Highlights presents Blue Boat, Green Boat written by Sunita Apte. Big Lake Village decides to post a sign prohibiting the green boats of the Little Lake villagers from the fishing grounds. In defiance, a young girl paints her father's green boat blue and goes fishing. There, she meets a young boy who is ultimately able to convince his father, a village leader, to remove the sign and improve relations between the two villages.
